Thomas Lorenz goes VR
For some time now, every planning project at Thomas Lorenz has been modeled in 3D. All information is managed in a central Revit building model. Now the next step were taken to be able to experience what has been planned up close.
With the help of VR glasses and the corresponding software, buildings that already have been planned can now be visited virtually. The higher the level of detail in the model is, the more lifelike gets the virtual walk. This way you can virtually immerse yourself in the future building with a 360-degree view, even before it has been built.
The development team in the TLo BIM department is busy testing. Statements such as “madness”, “caution” or “holy moly, is that high” give an idea – it really gets one!
