Taster day for the 4th grade at HTL Ortwein with Thomas Lorenz

At various stations, there were interesting facts about building materials and materialities in steel, glass and façade construction, challenges, activities and software used in the field of statics and construction, fields of activity and working methods in the field of building construction and architecture as well as the possibility of a “virtual walk” with VR glasses. The prospective engineers were not only taught theoretical knowledge, but were also given practical insights into the day-to-day work of our various departments. The event was a complete success! We are already looking forward to welcoming the students again in May – then under the motto “the construction site”.
