Smooth project handling
Hospital hygiene plays a leading role, especially in times of COVID-19 and other multi-resistant pathogens. For this purpose, the new Institute for Hospital Hygiene and Microbiology (IKM) was built in 17 months of construction in addition to the construction site for MedCampus Module 2.
This project was successfully handed over to the user in mid-August 2020. Thomas Lorenz ZT GmbH was responsible for the site supervision and the test statics.
With a gross floor area of approx. 3,400 m², the building has one underground and six above-ground floors with state-of-the-art medical equipment. It now offers enough space for the three areas of infection medicine.
We congratulate our ÖBA team on the smooth project handling!
