TPV kindergarten topping-out ceremony

Thanks to the timber construction method, the work is done in quick succession. Mayor Günther Abel was also visibly pleased: “The best education for the children is just as important to us as sufficient childcare places for the compatibility of work and family life. That’s why we launched a kindergarten offensive years ago and have recently created 200 new childcare places”. The new 3-storey building will house a 3-group daycare center, a 1-group daycare center, a company kitchen and a research facility for three to six-year-olds – the so-called “mini educational lab”. In addition to progress in the education sector, the focus is also on sustainability. Heating is provided by geothermal probes, and in addition to mechanical room ventilation, a large-scale PV system is also planned. Completion and commissioning of the EUR 6 million project are planned for fall 2024. Preliminary planning, submission and functional tendering of the BIM pilot project were carried out by Thomas Lorenz ZT GmbH as GP. The architectural planning was carried out by Bramberger Architects, while WRS Energie- und Baumanagement GmbH is responsible for implementation planning and construction.
