Obertauern 2018

Starting early on February 1^st 2018, the whole team travelled in direction of Upper Styria where the team checked into their hotel rooms and had breakfast at Hotel Schneider. After that, the team was off to the slopes – some even dared to go ”off-road“ and, accompanied by a guide, went free-riding. For the non-skiers, a snow-shoe hiking trip to Edelweißhütte -which was the meeting point for the skiers and non-skiers – was on the program. After a little aprés-ski and the bumpy journey down into the valley, we all had dinner at Hotel Schneider. A few of the party went to bed earlier in order to be fit for the following day. From the early morning, the first started off in the direction of the chair lift. In the afternoon, the crew divided into teams to take part in various teambuilding activities on the “Gnadenalm“. Aside from dog sledding races and mini golf, the ability to hit a nail into a piece of wood was put to the test. After completing all disciplines, the evening was rounded off with a cheese and meat fondue. On the homeward journey there was naturally “one for the road” in the popular pubs in Obertauern. Despite poor weather conditions and reduced visibility all the skiing passes were fully exploited until Saturday lunchtime. One party of the group went to “Gnadenalm“ again in order to go on a tobogganride. After three eventful, exciting days full of snow, the Thomas Lorent ZT GmbH crew returned back home. With this, a perfectly organized and enjoyable office excursion came to an end.
