New Working World AT&S – GU takes off at full speed
The groundbreaking ceremony took place at the end of May, and the first concrete is already pouring a month later. This is possible because the planning was created with BIM in 3D right from the start.
Collisions could be recognized and eliminated early, changes quickly incorporated and all plans derived from the “digital twin”. The general contractor ÖSTU-Stettin / Strabag already had a large part of the plans available at the start of construction and it could start immediately after the demolition and the clearing of the construction site.
Here are a few hard facts about the 4-storey new building complex:
8,335 m² GFA
4,400 m³ of concrete
535,000 kg of reinforcing steel
1,800 m² facade
The tower cranes will be dismantled again in 18 weeks, by then the shell should be ready. Commissioning is planned for autumn 2022.
Congratulations to everyone involved and keep it up!
