New ways of innovation
Thomas Lorenz ZT GmbH is always on the pulse of time. This is also the case in the area of digitization. For this reason, we are particularly pleased to be working with the creative minds at clone:it. We are happy to support you in the realization of your AI-supported and fully digital reinforcement control compare:rebar.
Reinforced concrete structures are made of concrete and reinforcing steel. The planning for the construction is designed in advance, usually in 3D, and set down as a 2D plan for the construction site. Despite the planning in 3D, it is currently only possible to work with the 2D documents on the construction site, because there is no possibility to operate with the 3D data on the construction site.
The software compare:rebar, designed by clone : it and supported by Thomas Lorenz ZT GmbH, is intended to remedy this situation.
With the application, reality can be matched with the virtual using a commodity device (e.g. iPhone) and the digital reinforcement plan. With the help of argumented reality, the 3D reinforcement plan is projected into the mobile device and compared with reality. The necessary parameters such as number, diameter, length, spacing, bending shape, concrete cover can be queried with the help of artificial intelligence and are checked independently. As a result, users receive an inspection report that can be used as proof of technically correct execution and replaces conventional reinforcement acceptance.
Just recently, the innovative entrepreneurs presented their idea at the digitalBAU in Munich and were awarded at the “Founders Fight Night” by an international jury as the best and most innovative StartUp out of more than 30 participating Startups!
We congratulate you warmly, wish you continued success and look forward to further good cooperation!
