New building psychiatry university hospital Salzburg

Habeler & Kirchweger Architekten ZT GmbH convinced in the EU-wide general planning competition, their competition work was chosen as the winning project. The goal of a sophisticated design concept, which on the one hand should do justice to the planned units and on the other hand take into account the existing pavilion system in its surroundings, was implemented in the best possible way. The new building will house the psychiatric central outpatient clinic with admission ward, the gerontological psychiatric ward and the psychotherapy ward with day clinic in a modern and functional environment. Thomas Lorenz was commissioned by Habeler & Kirchweger to handle general planning coordination, tender preparation and structural design. The construction costs amount to around 13 million euros, with completion scheduled for early 2026. We are looking forward to an exciting new project!
