New building Axel Springer Berlin
Almost 3 years after the start of construction and around 50 years after the opening of the first publishing tower in Berlin, the spectacular new building of the publishing house in the heart of Berlin is completed.
The new building offers space for around 3,500 employees and impresses with its spectacular façade. The new building is a symbol of media change and the digital age. Planning and statics of the folded façade, in which Thomas Lorenz ZT GmbH played a leading role, were also carried out fully digitally and interactively on a common 3D model.
