Ground Breaking Ceremony – Innovations Centre KNAPP
On March 16th 2018 it was time – the ground breaking ceremony was celebrated for KNAPP’s new Innovations Centre. The multi-story building in Hart, Graz, will be completed by autumn 2019 and will offer capacity for up to 480 employees as well as a 10m high showroom on the ground floor.
During the festivities, KNAPP COO Franz Mathi, gave an overview of the construction projects for 2018. A total of EUR 35 M will be invested in the location, of which EUR 16 M is for the Innovations Centre. Architects Alfred Bramberger presented the project and its special aspects. Concluding the presentation, Thomas Lorenz explained the full digital development of this pilot project. The BIM Method will not only be used during the planning, but also in the tendering, executive documentation and calculation processes.
