A23 – Elevated Motorway at Inzersdorf – Final Stage
Right on time at the end of the year, a section of the new elevated motorway at Inzersdorf on the A23 South East corridor was opened for traffic. As of Thursday 15 December 2016, traffic has been flowing again as planned across the new bridge travelling south at the Inzersdorf junction.
At the same time, the demolition and rebuilding of the old supporting structure began. The planning of the new bridge supporting structure was carried out by Thomas Lorenz ZT GmbH. As well, the demolition concept for the old bridge was developed by Thomas Lorenz ZT GmbH in close cooperation with ASFINAG and the contractors.
