State Police Command Center

At the end of 2009, the architect from Graz, office Heyszl, won the EU-wide realisation competition for the expansion of the State Police Command Center Styria.

In the course of the resulting negotiations, the consortium Heyszl-Lorenz was engaged as the general planners. Thomas Lorenz ZT GmbH undertook the tasks of general planner coordination as well as the technical and economic management. As such Thomas Lorenz GmbH was overall responsible for the structural analysis, cost control and performance of the planning coordination and project leaders referred to BauKG.

The goal of the project is to concentrate a number of essential police infrastructures at the location by undertaking a comprehensive extension.

The sustainable architectural concept stands out thanks to the spacious and detailed overhang of the main entrance. The project covers approximately 7,600 m².
