Team of Thomas Lorenz visited S10
(10/16/2013) Early yesterday morning (October 15th, 2013), a large part of the workforce at the office of Thomas Lorenz ZT GmbH, made their way from Graz to Upper Austria to check up on the progress of the S10 Mühlviertler Highway. The first stop was the ASFINAG Information Box to the east of Linz. It was then the 22 km trip along the new section by bus from Unterweitersdorf towards the Czech border.
Of special interest to the employees was the execution of the detailed project for the planned below-ground traffic routes, gallery and bridge objects. Franz Reichl, the Project Leader for the construction engineering for Section 3, showed his colleagues the man-made objects. The below-ground traffic route at Pernau was closely looked at because here the imposing glasses-shaped cross-section was being constructed with the use of formwork.
The section of the S10 was driven on by the office of Thomas Lorenz ZT GmbH with a bus. The opening for public transport is, however, not planned until the end of 2015.
