Almost the entire crew of Thomas Lorenz ZT GmbH set off in the early hours on September 10th for a four-day excursion to Porec.
Waiting for us was Ratko, our Croatian travel guide, who then took us through a tour of Limfjord (well-known for its mussel and fish farming), and Rovinj. On the return journey through the hinterland of Istria we visited a farm and enjoyed the truffle pasta and local wine.
On the following day, we travelled to Pula, the largest city of Istria, and visited the Amphitheatre, the harbour with its imposing wharf and the old city.
Every evening we were drawn like magic to the seaside promenade in the city of Porec, where we even had the opportunity to listen to a local pop group. The Croatian cover version of Biene-Maja really set holiday mood before we returned back to Graz on the fourth day via Koper, Ljubljana and Maribor.
